  • Any prepared runner who accepts the conditions set out in the competition announcement can start the race.
  • Wheelchair and handbike competitors are not allowed to participate due to the 2-lap half marathon.
  • Please wear your race number on the front, make sure it is always clearly visible and do not fold it! Make sure your race number is attached correctly, you will find safety pins in your race pack and at the registration desks.
  • A competitor who folds, covers, or does not wear their race number clearly during the race may receive a 10-minute time penalty.
  • A competitor may be disqualified if, despite repeated warnings, he violates the rule regarding wearing a start number, does not complete the entire distance of the race - designated by the organizers - or fills out the entry form inaccurately with inaccurate or incomplete data, or does not use the chip for its intended purpose.
  • It is NOT RECOMMENDED that runners listen to or use any music or other player that dampens the noise of the outside world while running by plugging it into both ears at the same time. Due to the multi-lap route of the race, runners are constantly overtaking each other, bicycle and motorcycle organizers are working, and if necessary, ambulances. The earphones suppress external noise, so the runner may hinder the previous runners and the organizers and medical team doing their work.
  • Roller skating, cycling, running without a race number, and running with a dog are prohibited in the race. Runners who start with a cyclist or roller skater may be excluded from the race.
  • We do not undertake any value retention in the competition.
  • Any commercial and advertising activities at the event venue may only be carried out with the prior permission of BSI, in an agreed form and manner.
  • For organizational reasons, BSI reserves the right to limit the number of participants and close registration at any time.
  • BSI reserves the right to change the route, program and time.

On the day of the competition

It is always worth listening to the race announcer! Some things may change or be modified on the day of the race and this is the only way we can inform you about them.

Meeting point

We will set up a "Meeting Point" sign at the race center, clearly visible from afar, so that fellow runners, schoolmates, relatives and fans can meet up around it. If you are coming to the race with a group or class, this is a safe spot where you can meet up even in the large crowd.

Before you start, coordinate the exact meeting place after the run with your fellow runners and chaperones.

Information

At each of our races you will meet a dedicated information team who will help you navigate not only the specific race. If you are interested in details of other BSI races, or would like to register for other running or walking distances this year, look for the BSI information tent in the Race Center area!

Lost children

Information about children who have been separated from their parents during the competition can be found at the information tent.

We ask you to turn to them for help and not to those working on the main stage!

If you find a child who is thought to be lost, please escort them to the information tent!

You can request a wristband in advance at the information tent, on which you can write the mobile number that we can call if we meet a child we believe is lost. After writing down the phone number, place the wristband on the child's wrist!

Running etiquette

Arrive on time! – to avoid the stress of waiting in line at the race center and changing rooms, to have time to meet up with friends you haven't seen in a while, or to meet new acquaintances and running companions.

Don't let a runner who didn't sign up run next to you! It's not fair to those who paid to run.

If you are running with a few other runners, do not block the entire width of the road. If you hear someone overtaking you, step aside as soon as possible and let them go. We ask that you keep the area of the race center and the route, especially at the refreshment stations, clean! Use the waste containers provided and do not litter! Restoring the race venue to its original condition is a very big task, thank you for helping us with this!

 Rules for wearing bib numbers:

  • Wear your race number visibly throughout the race, on your stomach/chest (race number belt is allowed).
  • It is forbidden to cover the starting number.
  • Do not remove, fold, or pierce the chip on the back of your bib with a safety pin.
  • Make sure you wear your own race number during the race.

The Underground Garage also offers the option of charging electric cars and you can pay for parking with a credit card. The Start/Finish is about a 9-10 minute walk from the Underground Garage. • Stage start at the event:
  • Participants will be initiated in several stages.
  • Each zone is separated by tape, zone signs and organizers.
  • The entry gates are kept open between the starting waves, so you can join the starters who match the planned pace during the start.
  • The flags marking the time zones are the same as the zone markings on the start number: black numbers on a yellow background.
  • The flags are always placed at the end of the starting zone.
  • If you did not enter a planned pace, you will receive the sticker for the zone when you pick up your start number.
  • If your start number does not have a time zone marking, you can request one at the competition center, at the registration troubleshooting table.

At the refreshment stations along the route, we will place giant bags attached to a cordon capable of storing 1 cubic meter of waste, primarily for collecting empty cups.

You will find the giant bags on the side of the route, after the last refreshment table.

The last giant bags will be placed 50 meters from the end of the station, this will be indicated by a separate sign. Please throw the waste you brought with you from the refreshment station into this at the latest!

Please do not throw away any waste generated along the route, but put it in the containers placed at the refreshment station.

At the queue station on Heroes' Square, we will place cup collection tubes; slide your used cup into them.

The level time is 3 hours net time, adjusted to the starting time of the last starter.

At the Half Marathon distance, 9 minutes/km, continuously slowing down

  • The 2nd round cannot be started after 10:40 p.m. Anyone arriving after that time to start the second round will be directed to the finish line.
  • From the 2nd lap, the closing bus follows the field at a continuously slowing pace of 9 minutes/km. If the average pace of the last runner slows below the above pace, he must board the closing bus, his start number will be crossed out, and he may not enter the finish area.

WE HAVE ASSUMPTED A 10-MINUTE START-UP FOR LEVEL TIME AND PASSAGE TIMES. IF THE START-UP DURATION DIFFERS FROM THIS, THE PASSAGE TIMES WILL ALSO CHANGE

We can later set a limit on the number of participants for the distances, and registration will automatically stop when the limit is reached.

Only those born before June 28, 2014 (12 years old or older) can participate in the half marathon.

In the individual half marathon, prizes will be awarded to the 1st-3rd place finishers in each gender.

The results will be announced based on the order of arrival at the finish line (gross time). The results list on the website (based on net time) may also show a different ranking.

information after arrival

After arriving at the finish line, we will set up the finisher medal and finisher package distribution tents.

First we hand out the finisher's package, then the drink, and then the medals.

  • When arriving at the finish line, you will be directed directly here via the lane marked DESTINATION.

Order your medal insert engraved with your name and finish time in advance! Avoid the queue at the venue, and we will mail it to you approximately three to four weeks after the event.

We will engrave your name and finish time on a self-adhesive plastic plaque. The plaque fits perfectly into the recess on the back of the medal. You don't have to search for money after your run, stand in line at the venue and wait for your medal to be made, or send it to be engraved afterwards. We will make and mail the insert to you. When it arrives, you just stick it on the back of your medal and you have a personal memento of your achievement.

The deposit can be ordered online, for long-distance delivery by appointment you are together in the "Products" menu of the BSI registration system.

The price of the deposit including postage (only for Hungarian addresses) is 2,900 HUF.
